We all need fellow travelers to help us along the way. Foundations Youth is here to offer a place where you can find companions for the Journey! We're a group of teenagers, 6th through 12th grade, committed to growing in our relationship with Jesus and with each other. We worship together, we study and pray together, we eat together, play together, and support each other. We'd love to have you join us! |

Foundations Worship
Every Wednesday night we gather in the Youth Worship Area for FOUNDATIONS! We have supper, hang out with friends, play games, win prizes, hear some youth testimonies, and worship! There's always a devotion by one of our leaders, and some incredible music led by our youth worship band. Friends are welcome and invited, and we have a saying that we emphasize every week..."Come as you are!" That means everyone is welcome and accepted, just as you are! Supper begins at 5:30pm, and everything else starts at 6:00pm. |

Life Groups
Life Groups are the heart of our youth ministry! Life Groups are groups of friends who get together once a week to hang out, share prayer requests and pray for each other, study the Bible, play some games, and, of course, EAT! Above all else, we support each other as we grow together in our relationships with Jesus and with each other. |

Bring-a-friend Outings
Once a month we have an activity of some sort that's just perfect to bring a friend to! Hayrides, giant slip-n-slides, hikes, bike trips, ski trips, indoor snow-tubing, zip-lining, and much much more! |

Spring, Fall and Winter Retreats
We live in a beautiful part of the country, and we're blessed with awesome mountains, incredible scenery, and tons of opportunities to get out into nature! Whether it's a Spring Retreat where we tackle a high ropes course, a Fall Retreat featuring some whitewater rafting, or our annual Winter Retreat in Pigeon Forge - this year to Strength to Stand- we love to go on retreat! |

Mission Trips
One of our primary goals is to enable teenagers to grow as disciples, becoming true Jesus-followers. That's why we have such a huge focus on missions. Each summer we travel to Johns Island, SC, where we spend a week helping residents have a decent place to live. Our international mission trips - to places like Nicaragua, Belize, Malawi, Costa Rica or Honduras - are usually in July. These life-changing experiences feature sports evangelism, construction, children's ministry, youth ministry, and more! |

SERVE and GoMAD
Of course, mission work doesn't just happen across the country or around the world. It also happens right here in Abingdon and Washington County. SERVE, a ministry of Therefore Go Ministries, brings volunteers from around the US and Canada to our church for a week of outreach ministry. And our GoMAD weekends, which stands for Go Make a Difference, provides a great opportunity for our own youth group to serve right here, at home!! |
